Complaints and grievance redressal
Trust is partly built by being clear about what happens when something goes wrong. This page is not buried in the footer for that reason.
You are never obliged to come to us first. If you would rather go straight to the fund house or to SEBI, that is entirely your right and this page tells you how.
Step 1 — Raise it with us
Tell us what went wrong through any channel on the contact page. Please include what happened, when, and any folio or reference number if one applies.
We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 3 working days and to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it in that time, we will tell you why and what we are doing about it, rather than going quiet.
Step 2 — Raise it with the fund house
If your complaint concerns the scheme, the transaction or the registrar rather than our own conduct, the fund house is the right party.
Every AMC is required to have an Investor Relations Officer, whose contact details are published in the scheme documents and on the fund house's website. We will help you find the right contact and frame the complaint even where we are not the party who can resolve it.
Step 3 — Escalate to SEBI through SCORES
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can lodge a complaint with SEBI on SCORES, its online complaint redress system.
- Portal: scores.sebi.gov.in
- A SCORES mobile app is also available for Android and iOS
- You register once using your PAN, mobile number and email
- Complaints are routed to the relevant entity, generally within one working day
- The entity is required to respond within 21 calendar days
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, you have 15 days to request a first-level review.
Step 4 — Online dispute resolution
Where a complaint remains unresolved after review, it can be escalated to SEBI's online dispute resolution mechanism, which provides conciliation, mediation and arbitration.
SEBI's guidance on resolving disputes is at investor.sebi.gov.in.
What we ask of you
Only that you tell us. A complaint we never hear about is one we cannot fix, and one that the next investor will run into as well.
Last reviewed 19 September 2026 against SEBI and AMFI sources. Escalation routes and timelines are set by the regulator and change from time to time — the SEBI links above are always the authoritative version.
